Coffee Routes

On this tour you will learn about the entire coffee process in Colombia. You will travel around the outskirts of the city of Armenia in the department of Quindío recognized for being in the heart of the coffee zone. You will visit a coffee farm and become familiar with the processes that take us from the coffee plant to the final product in the cup. You will also learn about specialty and premium coffees and how they differ from others. Finally, you will go to a specialty coffee shop where you will taste a premium Colombian coffee.

This is a mostly walking tour so it is recommended to bring comfortable clothes and footwear. The area around Armenia has variable weather and can change quickly from sunny to rainy. It is therefore advisable to use sunscreen and bring rain gear or an umbrella.
