On this tour you will learn about the history and culture of Colombia and Cartagena. You will walk through the streets of the historic center in the walled city of Cartagena visiting its colonial buildings, squares and churches. You will also learn about the military history of the city and visit the city walls with a beautiful view of the sea. Finally, we will tell you about the Afro history of Colombia and how it influences the Caribbean coast until today.

This is a mostly walking tour so it is recommended to bring comfortable and light clothing and footwear. Cartagena is a city with high temperatures and variable weather so it can change quickly from a sunny day to a rainy one. It is therefore advisable to use sunscreen, bring light clothing for the heat and a waterproof poncho in case it rains. It is essential to bring water to hydrate yourself during the tour.
